MELAcontrol is a Helix indicator system to be used for “Class B” autoclaves, e.g. for the MELAG autoclaves Premium-Class and Pro-Class. It consists of the MELAcontrol Helix test-body and 250 indicator strips. The Helix simulates the most difficult sterilisation conditions, because it imitates a long, narrow-bore instrument.
This product is a steam steriliser designed to simulate the sterilisation done through hollow medical instruments. This product comes with a tester and 250 test strips. Once the strips are consumed, new test strips along with a new tester body are supplied and the old tester body is disposed of. This device can sterilise dental instruments, needle holders with insertion closures, biopsy forceps with long and narrow hollow spaces as well as narrow-bore tubes and instruments designated as Hollow A instruments.
