The ConMed Adson Smooth Tips are designed for precise desiccation and coagulation control while using the Hyfrecator 2000. They require a foot switch and bipolar cord for operation. The reusable forceps are designed to grasp and coagulate (control bleeding) by making use of high-frequency electrical current in neurosurgical, ophthalmic, plastic, and reconstructive surgical procedures. The maximum voltage is not supposed to exceed 300 V.
