Description
Transfers efficiently. Removes cleanly. Prevents biofilm reformation.
Exufiber Ag+ is a non-woven polyvinyl alcohol fiber dressing that transforms into a gel upon contact with exudate healing it to softly conform to the wound bed. The tightly packed fibers keep exudate locked in, while the capillary action enables transfer of exudate to the secondary dressing.
Exufiber Ag+ promotes autolytic derbridement and easily removes in one piece, to support a clean wound bed. In contact with liquid, Exufiber Ag+ releases silver ions and inactivates a variety of wound-related pathogens, such as bacteria, fungi and moulds By reducing the number of microorganisms, Exufiber Ag+ can prevent the formation of biofilm
Intended use: Exufiber Ag+ is intended to be used on medium to highly exuding wounds, such as venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers and pressure injuries.
