MIR Spirobank II Smart can be operated as a ‘stand-alone’ or wirelessly connect to an iPad using the iSpirometry’ app for testing that measures using only the basic set of spirometric parameters. The iSpirometry’ app is powerful, yet simple to use and allows full control of the spirometer with real-time testing. It features an ‘incentivator’ which is helpful to improve patient compliance during a Spirometry test. You have the handy option to share results electronically.
For more advanced spirometry with a wider range of spirometric parameters available, you can connect the spirometer directly to a PC via USB using the free MIR WinspiroPRO’ PC Software. This also allows you to conduct real-time spirometry testing, as well as the option to download test results stored on the device for further analysis. You have the capability of storing up to 10,000 test results on its internal memory.
The MIR Spirobank II’ Smart can be used with both re-usable and single-use disposable turbines. Re-usable turbines are used with standard adult one-way valve mouthpieces. The single-use disposable turbines have a pre-connected mouthpiece and are individually factory calibrated and packaged.
